A prominent family with east coast and west coast properties is seeking an experienced Private Chef to join their small staff. The Chef is responsible for preparing lunch and dinner for the family and invited guests. The cuisine should be clean, healthy and elegant whether farm-to-table, Classic French , Thai, etc. The Chef will have extensive experience accommodating dietary restrictions and allergies such as gluten-free. The ability to execute dinner parties and other entertaining needs at a fine-dining level is a must. This role involves heavy entertaining. The role is based in the Hamptons during summer months and California during winter months with occasional needs in NYC. Shared accommodations are provided in everywhere except NYC. The schedule is 5 days per week; weekend coverage is a must. Qualified candidates will have a minimum of 5-7 years of Private Chef experience in addition to restaurant experience. Must be legally authorized to work in the US, must drive, must be vaccinated for COVID-19, must have excellent references and must be a positive professional who works and gets along well with others. Compensation $150K – $200K DOE.
