Working parents, in the East Village, need to hire a highly experienced Nanny to, primarily, care for their infant and occasional care for a toddler and a school aged child.
Responsibilities include: preparing and sanitizing bottles, diaper changing, monitoring food intake and tracking developmental milestones, engaging the child in age appropriate reading and sensory activities, collaborating with hands-on parents to create a safe and cohesive home environment, child related laundry and cleaning, keeping common areas tidy, maintaining established household organization systems and routines for naptime and feeding, transitioning to solids when appropriate, preparing healthy snack and purees etc., occasional meal prep for the older children and assisting parents with the children’s bedtime routine. Candidates must have strong communication skills, be comfortable with parents sometimes working from home, be experienced caring for multiple children in tandem and demonstrate sound judgment regarding safety etc. The Nanny should be able to engage the older children in creative activities and read to all children. The typical schedule will start as Monday to Friday from 12pm to 8pm with flexibility for occasional later nights/earlier mornings and/or weekend assistance, if needed. Candidates must also be flexible for some travel, including internationally. Salary: $35-40/hr. Immediate start.
