A family of five, with homes in Greenwich Village and Hamptons, needs to hire a highly skilled private Chef who can work as a team with the Executive Chef and other staff. Responsibilities include: food procurement, menu planning, cooking meals for lunch and dinner, and maintaining the kitchen. The family favors clean and flavorful dishes from variety of cuisines, with some dietary restrictions such as low sodium, low sugar and no shellfish. Knowledge of kosher guidelines strongly preferred but is not a must. The ideal candidate must be child friendly and have a combined experience both from upscale restaurants and high-end private homes. Willingness to take and follow instructions will be appreciated. Excellent communication skills and team spirit are a must. The schedule is Sunday-Tuesday and Friday-Monday (in the summer). Salary: $120-and benefits. Immediate start.
