An active older couple, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a Household/Personal Assistant to help their home and lives run smoothly. Responsibilities include: household organization, inventory management, grocery and household shopping errands, light cooking or meal prep, coordinating vendors and deliveries, laundry, light cleaning of living areas between deep cleanings, assisting with family events and gatherings–including serving and cleaning up after large family meals, which are often weekly in the summer, assisting in the hire of temporary or part-time staff as needed, seasonal projects in their Long Island home, pet care for one cat, assisting with emailing and digital needs and scheduling. Candidates must be self-starters, child-friendly, must drive and be a strong communicator.
Must be flexible with weekday schedule. This will consist of 40 hours guaranteed between Monday to Friday with varying hours depending on vendors/location and family visits. Most hours will be between 9am-5pm. In the summer, flexibility between Manhattan and Long Island is important, including ideally some weekend hours. Salary range: $45-50/hr. Immediate start.
