A family in Springfield, Illinois, needs to hire a full-time, experienced nanny to provide developmentally focused care for their young toddler, with the opportunity to support a newborn arriving in late October. Responsibilities include: planning and leading age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth, maintaining consistent routines, preparing nutritious meals and snacks and supporting key developmental milestones typical of the toddler stage, such as language development, motor skills, and independence. The Nanny will also be responsible for child related household tasks including tidying play areas, organizing toys, and handling children’s laundry. A strong communicator who can collaborate with parents and adapt as family needs evolve will thrive in this role. Comfort working in a home with pets is important, as is flexibility for occasional overtime and domestic travel. Schedule is: Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Salary range: $35 to $45 per hour. Immediate start.
