A Westchester family needs to hire a highly experienced, full-time, live-out Nanny to provide attentive, developmentally focused care for their children, who range in age from toddler to pre-teen. The Nanny will work alongside another full-time nanny in a fully staffed household. Applicants must currently reside in Westchester or the Bronx, possess a valid driver’s license, and have reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will be proactive, team-oriented, and knowledgeable about early childhood development. Responsibilities include preparing healthy meals and snacks; bathing and dressing the children; maintaining consistent sleep schedules and daily routines; and supporting developmental milestones through age-appropriate activities, educational play, and outings. The Nanny will also oversee child-related organization, including wardrobe management, seasonal clothing transitions, and maintaining clean and tidy play and living spaces. Additional duties include assisting with travel, including packing and unpacking and providing childcare during trips; running occasional errands; and collaborating seamlessly with other household staff. Comfort around dogs and a willingness to assist with light pet-related tasks are required. The family is seeking a candidate with a minimum of 10 years of private childcare experience, excellent judgment, and strong communication skills. A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or another child-centered field is preferred. Candidates must be flexible, prepared for frequent domestic and international travel, CPR and First Aid certified or willing to obtain certification, and able to maintain the highest level of discretion and professionalism. This position is live-out while the family is in New York; however, a significant amount of time will be spent traveling and at the family’s additional residences. These periods will require the Nanny to live in, with private accommodations provided. The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically from 7am to 7pm, with flexibility required based on the children’s schedules and the family’s travel needs. The salary range is $35–50 per hour, plus benefits. The anticipated start date is late summer or early fall 2026.
