A private family based in Palm Beach County, is seeking a dynamic and educated Private Educator / Tutor to support the academic development of their two oldest children, who are actively involved in competitive athletics. This role is ideal for an experienced educator who enjoys working with high-performing students, can provide individualized academic support, suitable for students who attend an elite preparatory academy, and is comfortable adapting lessons around a busy sports and travel schedule. The Private Educator/ Tutor will partner closely with the family to provide supplemental education, tutoring, and academic enrichment that complements the children’s school curriculum. The ideal candidate will bring a thoughtful, engaging teaching style and the ability to tailor learning approaches to each child’s strengths and needs while maintaining a positive, encouraging environment. Responsibilities include reinforcing school concepts, assisting with homework and projects, providing enrichment in subjects of interest, and helping the children stay organized and prepared academically. The schedule will follow a flexible 7-days-on / 7-days-off rotation, with most working hours occurring after school during the week, along with some longer days and weekend support depending on the children’s commitments. During school holidays, travel periods, and summer months, the schedule may shift. The candidate must have a valid license and ability to travel. The ideal candidate will have a background in elementary education, ideally with prior classroom and/or tutoring experience, and a demonstrated ability to support elementary-aged students in a structured yet engaging way. The right fit will be organized, proactive, flexible, and able to maintain a professional yet warm presence within a private family environment. Salary in the 100-110K range, commensurate with experience, along with full benefits.
