A family of four, in Brooklyn, needs to hire a developmentally savvy Nanny/ Family Assistant to care for their two children, both early elementary age. Responsibilities include: school drop off & pick up, afternoon activities, engaging them in games & educational play, helping with homework, organizing children’s closets (including phasing out items that no longer fit & purchasing new items), children’s laundry & housekeeping, and cooking for the children, some family laundry, running errands as-needed, and help to keep the home tidy. Some domestic travel may be needed but is not regularly expected. Nannies with a background in education or related degree are a huge plus. Driving is not a requirement of this role but nannies must be comfortable in water and be up to date on vaccines. Schedule is: Monday to Friday, working three longer days (7:30am to 6pm) and two shorter days (1 to 6pm). Salary $40/hr. with health insurance stipend and MetroCard. Immediate start.
