A working Mom, in Fairfield, CT., needs to hire a part- or full-time Nanny/Household Assistant to help ensure their home runs smoothly. Responsibilities include: school pick up, possibly the occasional drop off, household organization with light upkeep (no deep cleaning- there is a part time housekeeper who handles this), child-related & some light household laundry, preparing simply meals (mostly afterschool snack or dinner for the child), running errands, assisting with pet care for the family dog, and acting as an extra set of hands wherever needed to help keep things in order. All candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be able to swim. The ability to stay over or accompany the family on an occasional family trip is a huge plus. The family requires coverage from 2 to 7pm Monday to Friday, with flexibility, but would like additional assistance in the form of a split shift (helping in the mornings) OR possibly assisting two longer days each week (i.e. 9am to 6/7pm), with the ability to assist full days when school is not in session. Salary range: $30-35/hr. plus a monthly health insurance contribution.
