A family, in East Hampton, needs to hire a detail oriented year-round, full-time Housekeeper. Responsibilities include: deep cleaning, laundry and ironing, household errands, polishing silver, watering plants, household organizing, occasional meal prep and assistance with entertaining. Must have excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills, impeccable laundry and ironing skills, including knowledge of a rotary iron. First-rate communications skills are also a must: working as a team with the caretaker and communicating with the homeowner via text and email regularly. Must drive. Experience setting a formal table and formal service are a plus. The ideal candidate must have 5+ years of experience in a similar role, as well as significant experience working in a team environment. Schedule: Memorial Day to Labor Day: Wednesday to Friday 9AM to 6PM, Saturday 10 am to 8pm, and Sunday 11AM to 6PM. The rest of the year: Monday to Friday 9AM to 6PM. Must work on Thanksgiving weekend. Salary range: 85-90k a year plus health insurance. Immediate start.
