A family in Westchester County, NY, needs to hire an experienced Part-Time Houseman/Housekeeper to help maintain a large estate. Responsibilities include general and deep cleaning, household organization, stocking household supplies, running errands, pet care, and laundry. Other tasks may include clearing debris from walkways, taking out refuse and recyclables, bringing in mail/packages, etc. The individual must perform museum-quality cleaning, hold strong organizational skills, and have the ability to multi-task. While serving skills are not required, they are a plus. Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience, take direction well, and have excellent references. The ideal individual will be professional, polished, and discreet. Must communicate well and be able to act as a liaison with vendors, contractors, etc. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9 am – 4 pm, and Fridays, 9 am – 1 pm, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as requested. Candidates must live within a short commute, have a safe driving record, excellent references, and a minimum of 5 years of experience working in a similar position. Salary range: $35 – $45/hour.
