A family of four, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire a child-friendly Housekeeper who can maintain a large apartment and assist with occasional childcare. Responsibilities include: deep cleaning and daily upkeep of a 5,700 sq. ft. apartment, organizing storage areas and laundry and light ironing. On occasion housekeeper will be asked to supervise two school aged children. Ideal candidate over time would be able to take on additional tasks like helping with errands, maintenance schedule management, meal preparation, and getting the children to and from afterschool activities. Good cooks welcome, fondness for dogs preferred, and willingness for occasional travel to weekend house in CT and summer house on Nantucket also positive. Must like pets. Schedule: Monday-Friday (9am-5pm) with flexibility to work additional hours if the family entertains. Salary: $40-45/hour. Immediate start.
