A family of four, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an experienced Spanish-speaking Nanny to care for two children – a toddler and an early school age child. Responsibilities include: taking the children to and from school and activities, engaging them in developmentally savvy, fun and educational games and activities, caring for their rooms and belongings, liaising with the teachers etc. as needed, working as a team with involved parents, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children and bed and bath routines. It is important that Spanish be spoken to the children at all times. All candidates must have toddler and school-age experience. The Nanny must be flexible to travel with the family, on occasion, to their country home and travel with them on vacation as needed. Schedule is Monday – Friday 7:30 am – 6:30 pm, with flexibility. Salary range $40-45 hr.+ OT. Mid-August start.
