A family of (soon-to-be) four, in Bakersfield, CA, needs to hire a live in or local live out Nanny to assist them in the New Year. Responsibilities include mostly care for the oldest child handling morning and afternoon routines with a break in the day. Nanny will help with breakfast, school drop off & pick up, transporting the child to activities, preparing healthy snacks & meals, sterilizing toys & bottles, assisting with bottle feeding, diapering, child related housekeeping, and some family travel. All applicants must be ok working in a home with dogs. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and it is a big plus if candidates can swim. For live in candidates, a private bed and bath is offered. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 6:30/7am to 9am and then 4pm to 7pm with some light flexibility and occasional weekend coverage (family will always offer 2 days off). Salary $30-35/hr. plus health insurance contribution. February or March 2024 start.
