A DC Metro-based family of four needs to hire a live out, afternoon/ evening Nanny to care for their two, early elementary-age children. Responsibilities include: school pick up, transportation, planning & scheduling activities, playdates, & outings, handling supplemental educational activities, homework help, preparing children’s snacks & meals, light child-related housekeeping & children’s laundry, coordinating with the family’s other nanny (& staff), overnights if parents are away, and travelling with the family.  This is a fully staffed home and all applicants should feel comfortable working as a team and knowing how to pitch in where needed to ensure the home continues to run smoothly. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license (with a clean record) & passport, 5+ years of related childcare experience, swim, be developmentally savvy & creative, detail oriented, and be fully vaccinated (including covid). Family would ideally love to hire someone who has a background in education or related degree. There is a dog in the home, who occasionally needs to be let out. Schedule is 1pm -8pm Monday – Friday with additional hours/ days when needed. Salary range: $32-35 hr. August start date.
