Manhattan-based entrepreneurial family with 2 children (one infant and one elementary-aged) is seeking TWO ROTA Nannies. Nannies will primarily be caring for the older child (Mon-Fri), as the newborn will have their own nanny, but you must be comfortable watching both kids on weekends. This is a blended family, with divorced parents who have a strong co parenting relationship, and the Nannies will be working in both homes. Duties include: managing the children’s schedules, planning/ preparing kid’s meals, school pick up, taking the older child to activities/ outings, coordinating play dates, assisting with homework, engaging in play, and helping with evening/ bedtime routine. Family wants someone who is proactive about planning intellectually stimulating activities and outings and has the energy to be hands-on active with the oldest and able to be a true partner to the parents. All applicants should have 5+ years of nanny or teaching experience, be developmentally savvy (related degree or coursework A++), have infant experience, be fully vaccinated (including covid, tdap, mmr, and flu), have a valid passport and be able to travel 2-3X a year, be flexible to work in the Hamptons during the summer months, and be ok working in a home with cats. Family would ideally like to find live out applicants and are happy to consider applicants who currently live out of state. For the right fit, they are open to discussing live in. The schedule will either rotate 7 or 14 days on then off and typical hours will be full days on the weekends with afternoon coverage during the week (i.e. 11am to 7pm). Salary range (100K+ annual) plus benefits. Immediate start.
