A family of four, in Harlem, needs to hire a college-educated, experienced, House Manager/Nanny to ensure that their home is running smoothly and assist in the afterschool care of their two children. Responsibilities include: school pick-up, taking the children to their after-school sports & activities, homework help, children’s housekeeping & laundry, and ensuring the children are fed and ready for dinner, managing the family calendar, overseeing vendors in the home, receiving packages, household errands and ordering, booking travel and scheduling appointments, and special projects as they arise. Applicants would ideally be able to pitch in with the occasional family dinner or assist with minimal meal prep. All applicants must be COVID vaccinated, should be able to swim, have the ability to travel with the family (especially during summer and school holidays), be college-educated (related degree a plus), and ideally, will have a driver’s license. The ideal schedule will be from Monday to Friday, 12 – 6/7pm (family will guarantee 30-35 hours, depending on the applicant’s needs). Salary $35-55/ hr plus metro card and possible health stipend.
