A sophisticated couple, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a formally trained Housekeeper/Cook who can share the responsibilities with existing staff for the proper upkeep and maintenance of a large city apartment and the family’s weekend residences in CT and LI. The ideal candidate will be a team-spirited and proactive person with museum quality cleaning and good organizational skills. Duties will also include: cooking quality meals in chef’s absence as well as staff lunches and dinners as needed, laundry duties, pet care and occasional household shopping. Weekend residence related chores include: opening the houses for the season, keeping them well-maintained throughout the year, replenishing supplies, assisting with parties, and overall house management. Non-smoker. Must drive. The ideal candidate lives close to NYC. Schedule: Flexible days off during the week, 40-50 hours (live out and live in when needed). Salary range 100k+ health benefits package offered. Immediate start.
