An active Manhattan based family is looking for an experienced Houseman to join their household team. This position will work with existing staff to keep a large townhome looking and operating its best. Responsibilities span aspects of property maintenance, facilities, deep cleaning, general housekeeping and light inventory maintenance. The Houseman will, at times, act as the face of the home to receive a package, guest or vendor and may also assist the Estate Manager in order to achieve the employer’s goals. The schedule is Tuesday – Saturday approximately 12PM – 8PM with flexibility to work additional hours/days as needed. This role is based in Manhattan with travel to the Hamptons during July and August (where accommodations are provided). Those who desire a long-term commitment and who have a team spirit and zero ego need only apply. Qualified candidates will have excellent references, a minimum of 3-5 years of similar experience, and a valid driver’s license (and safe driving history). Compensation: $75K-$80K plus benefits. This role is eligible for overtime pay.
