An active family ,based in Palm Beach, Florida., needs to hire an exceptional career Nanny to join their fully staffed household on a rotational schedule of 5 days on / 3 days off during the school year, transitioning to 7 days on / 7 days off while the family is in the Hamptons for the summer. While the children are in school, the role is heavily focused on project management, organization, inventory management, and planning ahead. The nanny will be responsible for proactively preparing for upcoming events and seasonal needs so that everything is organized well in advance. Projects may include, but are not limited to: Planning and preparing holiday activities (Ex. Christmas Elf scenes), Organizing and rotating the children’s clothing and seasonal wardrobes, Maintaining and organizing playrooms, bedrooms, and children’s storage areas, Creating keepsake books from the children’s artwork and school projects, Inventorying and organizing sports equipment, including hockey gear, Packing and unpacking for family travel, Researching and purchasing children’s supplies as needed, Maintaining inventories of clothing, toys, books, school supplies, and activity equipment, Coordinating upcoming activities, appointments, camps, birthdays, holidays, and travel preparations, Tackling ongoing household projects related to the children’s lives and routines. The family greatly values initiative and hopes to find someone who naturally notices what needs attention without waiting to be asked. No task should be considered too big or too small. Once the children return home from school, all projects are set aside, and the nanny’s focus shifts entirely to the children. The afternoon and evening routine centers on providing engaging, attentive childcare—assisting with homework, transporting the children to activities, encouraging imaginative play, fostering conversation and learning, overseeing evening routines, and ensuring the children feel supported, happy, and engaged. The nanny will primarily work with one early school-age child while also assisting with two additional school-age children as needed. The position is part of a collaborative, fully staffed household that includes multiple full-time nannies/mannies and household staff. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and a team-first attitude are essential, as everyone works together to provide consistency and exceptional care. The schedule generally follows before- and after-school hours during the academic year, with daytime organizational projects completed while the children are away. Flexibility is required during school holidays, vacations, and summer months when the children are home full-time. Candidates should possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, have previous experience working in high-functioning private households, and enjoy balancing childcare with household and project responsibilities. A Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and passport and be willing to travel domestically and internationally with the family, including spending summers in the Hamptons on the rotational live-in schedule. This is a live-out position while the family resides in Florida. During the summer months, when the family relocates to the Hamptons, the position becomes live-in for the duration of each working rotation. Salary range: $110K – $150k, annually, commensurate with experience, plus a bonus and an excellent benefits package.
