A busy family of five, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a child-friendly Chef who specializes in Mediterranean and Asian Fusion cuisine and is familiar with Kosher guidelines. The Chef will be responsible for creating menus, purchasing ingredients and preparing healthy and delicious meals. Serving meals and cleaning up after dinner, as well as keeping a clean and well-stocked kitchen will are also the Chef’s responsibility. The ideal candidate must be a team-spirited and positive individual who enjoys working in a welcoming family environment. The family will tailor the work schedule to their ideal chef’s scheduling needs, as long as the person is willing to reciprocate by remaining flexible when needed, e.g. work on a weekend if the family entertains, cooking breakfast for the children if needed, etc. Traveling to the Hamptons during August is a requirement. The schedule is Monday-Friday, flexible hours. Salary range: $150-200k. Immediate start.
