Cook/Housekeeper/House Manager
Live Out (UES) + Occasional Tristate Area Travel
A sophisticated couple, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an experienced Housekeeper/Cook/House Manager who can share the responsibilities with existing staff for the proper upkeep and maintenance of a large (formal) city apartment and the family’s weekend residences in CT and LI. Duties will also include: cooking quality meals in chef’s absence as well as staff lunches and dinners as needed, laundry duties, pet care and occasional household shopping. Weekend residence related chores include: opening the houses for the season, keeping them well-maintained throughout the year, replenishing supplies, assisting with parties, and overall house management. Non-smoker. Must drive. The ideal candidate lives close to NYC and will be a team-spirited, proactive person with good organizational skills and who produces high quality work. Schedule: Wed – Sun 2PM – 10PM, with some flexibility swap days as needed. The role is based on the UES with travel to secondary properties on the weekends. Salary range $85K++ range and benefits package offered, [depending on experience and projected schedule/hours].
