A family of four, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire an educated and engaging full-time live-out Nanny to care for their two children, an infant and an elementary school-aged child. Responsibilities will be primarily childcare-focused and will include: providing attentive care for the infant, assisting with school drop-off and pick-up for the older child, transporting or accompanying the children to after-school activities and appointments, planning and engaging in developmentally appropriate play and outings, and supporting the children’s social, emotional, and educational development, traveling with the family (often to CO and beach destinations), children’s laundry, keeping their rooms and play areas organized, washing bottles and sterilizing toys, and helping to keep shared spaces tidy throughout the day. The family employs a Housekeeper, so no deep cleaning is required; however, this is a collaborative environment where everyone pitches in to make sure the home runs smoothly. Valid passport is a must, as is a comfortability working in a home with a friendly dog. Swimming and driving are a plus. There is a hands-on stay-at-home parent in the home, so someone who is comfortable working collaboratively throughout the day is essential. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm with flexibility for some additional coverage. Salary range: $35-40/hr. and an OMNY card. Immediate start.
