A family of four, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire a part-time, live-out Housekeeper to care for their 5-story townhouse. Responsibilities include: deep-cleaning and daily upkeep, household organization, light meal prep (cutting veggies, preheating the oven, thawing meats), accepting deliveries/packages, folding and putting away laundry and running occasional errands. While there is no childcare needed for this role, there are 2 young children in the home so candidates must be child-friendly and be comfortable with occasionally looking after them if Mom needs to run out. The family would also like pet-friendly applicants as they may get a dog in the future. The ideal candidate will take strong initiative to be proactive and ideally does not need direction. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 11am – 6pm, though the family is flexible for the right candidate. Salary range: $45-50/hr. Flexible start date!
