A family of three with homes on the Upper East Side and in the Hamptons, needs to hire an experienced, formally trained Housekeeper/Laundress to oversee the care and maintenance of their multi-level Upper East Side residence and large summer home in the Hamptons. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeping, caring for all surfaces and finishes, and providing exceptional laundry care, including washing, ironing, steaming, wardrobe maintenance, packing, unpacking, and clothing inventory. Additional duties include: light meal preparation, table service, assisting the Chef as needed, overseeing household vendors and service providers, purchasing and maintaining household supplies, and ensuring the home is always guest-ready, including accommodating last-minute requests and schedule changes. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently while coordinating closely with the family office, as the principals are in residence for less than half of the year. The schedule is generally Monday through Friday, 9-5 with flexibility required when the family is in residence. During the summer months, living in at the family’s Hamptons home is required.
