A working, single-parent, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire an experienced Part-Time Household Assistant/Cook/Nanny to support the care of one school-aged child and help ensure the home runs smoothly. Responsibilities include: morning and evening routines related to the child, child’s laundry and room, and household errands (including grocery shopping), and preparing a family dinner for parent and child. The tasks differ depending upon the day. The ideal candidate is organized, self-directed, and comfortable taking initiative in a busy, single-parent home, with prior experience in a similar nanny or family assistant role. Comfort with cooking is essential. The family can guarantee 24 hours a week. The schedule is Tuesdays from 2 to 9pm, Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm, and Thursdays from approximately 2pm to 10/11pm. Salary range: $30-40/hr. Immediate start.
