An estate in Jacksonville, FL, needs to hire an experienced Horticulturist/Head Gardener to oversee the care and ongoing development of a 3-acre residential property in Jacksonville, FL. This hands-on role is ideal for a knowledgeable professional with expertise in fruit trees, edible gardens, soil health, and organic growing practices. The position involves full responsibility for maintaining the estate grounds, managing a large orchard and vegetable garden, overseeing irrigation and soil health, and operating property equipment. The ideal candidate is highly self-directed, detail-oriented, and capable of independently planning and executing both daily tasks and long-term property improvements. Candidates should have at least 5–10+ years of relevant horticulture or estate gardening experience, strong knowledge of organic and regenerative practices, and experience with equipment operation.
