Working parents, in Madison, NJ,  need to hire a highly experienced, nurturing full-time, live-out nanny to and provide attentive care for their two children—an elementary school-aged child and an infant, who will be the primary focus of the role. Responsibilities will be centered around the infant during the day and include: managing all aspects of care such as feeding, diapering, maintaining a consistent sleep schedule, bathing, and supporting developmental milestones through engaging the child in age-appropriate activities. Additional duties include: handling children’s laundry, maintaining child-related organization and upkeep, and preparing meals for the children. While the older child is in school during the day, the nanny will assist with their care as needed outside of school hours. The family is seeking a candidate with a proactive and intuitive approach to childcare. Someone who takes initiative and is happy to pitch in wherever needed will thrive in this role. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10–15 years of professional childcare experience, with a strong background in infant care and development. A college degree is a plus; however, the family ultimately prioritizes experience. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute to work, be comfortable working in a home with a friendly dog, and be willing to travel with the family (approximately 1–2 trips per year). The schedule is Monday through Friday, typically 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with flexibility to stay until 7:30 PM on occasion, as well as occasional weekend support. Salary range: $30–35/hour, with a health insurance contribution. Start by May 2026.
