A family of five, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire an experienced, and detail-oriented household assistant to support daily home operations. Responsibilities include: maintaining a clean and organized apartment, managing laundry, planning and preparing healthy family dinners 2-3 times per week, and assisting with light childcare when the children return from school and activities. The role also involves grocery shopping or ordering, running occasional errands, and walking the family dog once daily. This position works alongside an existing housekeeper and dog walker, serving as supplemental support. Candidates flexible to accompany family to their secondary residence in Rhinebeck are preferred. Typical hours are 1pm–7pm, with some flexibility for the right person. Salary: $40hr plus monthly Metrocard. Immediate start.
