A family of five, in Ridgefield, CT, needs to hire a temporary, full-time Chef for the month of May. The Chef will be responsible for preparing family-style lunches and dinners for both parents and children, with minimal entertaining expected. Responsibilities include: menu planning, grocery shopping, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. The family enjoys a well-balanced, healthy diet and is open to a wide range of cuisines. While there are no specific dietary restrictions, they particularly appreciate a worldly palate, with a special love for East Asian cuisine. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with lunch served around 12:00 PM and dinner typically at 6:30 PM. Salary range: $600–$900 per day., commensurate with experience. The Chef will be needed for the full month of May while the family is in residence. A trial period will be required, coordinated with the family’s Chief of Staff.
