A family of four, in Brooklyn, needs to hire a full time Nanny/ Housekeeper to assist in the upkeep of their home and handle afterschool childcare for their two, elementary-age, children. Both parents work but are in and out of the home. Responsibilities include: family laundry, tidying & regular household organization, making beds, running errands, picking the children up from school, tag-teaming with parents to take children to afternoon activities, , preparing meals & snacks for the children with some family dinner assistance and traveling with the family. All applicants must drive and be able to spend summers in the Hamptons- family is happy to provide a more lenient and flexible schedule during these two months. Someone within an easy commute to the family’s home is preferred. Schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 or 10am to 6 or 7pm with the flexibility to assist on date nights or an occasional weekend or overnight, with notice. Salary range: $35-40/hr. Immediate start.
