A family, in Southampton, need to hire a full time, live-in Housekeeper to join their year-round household staff. Responsibilities include: detailed cleaning and daily maintenance, laundry including ironing and steaming, maintaining neat and organized living spaces, assisting with formal and informal dinner service, collaborating with the household chef and providing support with inventory and supply management. The candidate must also report maintenance needs and work well alongside other staff. This is a live-in position, and the housekeeper will continue to reside in the home and be responsible for its upkeep during the half of the year when the principals are not in residence. Must have a minimum of 3 years of private home experience, knowledge of caring for fine furnishings and excellent communication and time management skills. Schedule is Monday-Friday 8am- 6pm. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required. Salary range: $95,000 to $105,000, depending on experience. September start.
