A family, in Cambridge, MA, needs to hire an experienced and detail-oriented Part-Time Housekeeper. Responsibilities include: deep cleaning and organization of the home, laundry and ironing, overseeing vendors and contractors, occasionally assisting with food prep, running errands, grocery shopping, caring for house plants, ensuring home-systems are in working order, driving the principals to appointments as needed, and occasional care for two cats. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a high-end private home, speak English well and be respectful of boundaries. The principals spend 3-4 months each summer in Maine and need a Housekeeper who is either open to taking unpaid leave during this period, or willing to travel with them to Maine, where a private residence will be provided. The schedule is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for approximately 22 hours. The schedule can also be spread over 4-5 days if someone prefers. Salary range: $35-40/hr. plus benefits.
