A family of six, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire a full-time, live-out Nanny to help care for their four school-aged children. Responsibilities include: after-school pickup, transportation to and from activities, homework assistance, household organization, cooking for the children, and assisting with the bedtime routine. All applicants must have a valid driver’s license and feel comfortable driving both in Manhattan and outside the city. The ideal candidate will work well with a hands-on Mom and be comfortable tag-teaming with her. A valid passport is required. The typical schedule consists of 8-hour days, totaling 40 hours per week. While the hours may vary weekly, the start time will typically be between 1pm – 3pm during the school year and the nanny will receive her schedule at least one week in advance. Summer travel to Nantucket/Martha’s Vineyard is required. Salary range: $40–$45 hr. plus health insurance. Immediate start.
