A Manhattan-based family needs to hire a temporary summer travel Nanny to spend mid to late June through late August with them, traveling across Europe, and caring for their young toddler. Responsibilities include: engaging in educational & fun activities, diapering, feeding, handling naps, accompanying the family on outings and handling independent care when parents have their own plans, including some babysitting a few evenings per week. All applicants must have a valid passport and someone multilingual (French or Spanish speaker) is a plus, but is not required. Should be comfortable in the water and have all major vaccines with CPR certification preferred. Nanny will not be expected to handle overnight care and will have private sleeping accommodations. There is the possibility the family will need help for two domestic trips in May and early June, which would be the perfect time to make sure this is the right fit. Typical schedule is Monday through Saturday for 8-9 hours a day, $30-35.
