A family of four, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a reliable and professional Housekeeper/Laundress/Cook to care for their four floor townhouse. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeping, running errands, laundry and light ironing, family style cooking (basic, healthy dinners) and overseeing repairmen, grocery shopping and care of the family’s dog (daily walks etc.) The two children are in college, so the role will mostly be assisting two the principals with the exception of school breaks. All candidates should be self-starters yet also able to take direction from the family, with a professional demeanor. Individuals who are extremely organized and efficient will succeed in this household. It is A+ if this person can accompany the family on occasion to the Hamptons, but it is not a requirement. The schedule is working 35 hours per week, Monday through Thursday or Friday (the family is flexible w/ schedule for the right person. Salary range: $35-45/hr. plus health insurance. Immediate start!
