A household, in Northern NJ, needs to hire a highly skilled Private Chef to join their team. The ideal candidate would be passionate about culinary excellence, knowledgeable about healthy meals & foods, while being conscious of dietary restrictions (low-fat, low sodium, and diabetic), and thrive in a formal yet welcoming family environment. Must plan, prepare, and serve three meals a day, with the occasional snacks, as well prepare separate meals on an “as needed” basis for the principals. Will also be tasked with cooking lunch for the household staff and help principals host casual weekend parties for 4-8 guests and for holiday parties for 8-20 guests. Must have 5 years of professional chef experience in a high-end home or a fine dining establishment. Must drive and be willing to drive the employers to various locations if requested. Schedule: 5 days one week, and 6 days the following week with flexibility to work the weekends and holidays. Must be able to maintain a clean, well-organized, fully stocked kitchen at all times. Salary range: $120k-150k based on experience. Immediate start.
