A family, in South Florida, needs to hire a Houseman to manage the upkeep of their two, South Florida, homes, in conjunction with their housekeeper. Responsibilities include: general upkeep, organizing the care of fine art & antiques, household organization, maintaining storage areas, heaving lifting, light maintenance, household purchasing & keeping necessities well-stocked, maintaining outdoor areas (including power washing), grocery shopping, maintaining cars, household errands, assisting when the family entertains, overseeing vendors in the home and packing/ unpacking assistance, as well as any special projects that may arise. Applicants must have a valid license, scheduling flexibility, comfortable with technology (iPhone, email, etc.) and have strong command of English language. In addition to errands, there will be the occasional need to chauffeur the principals (i.e. to/ from the airport). The schedule is Monday to Friday. During the on-season (October through May) the schedule requires working 9am to 6:30pm, with flexibility to work extra hours or days (i.e. weekends or late-night coverage when entertaining). During the off season, the schedule will be 9am to 5pm and require less hands-on care, as the principals are not in residence. Salary range: 90-120K plus health insurance. Immediate start.
