New parents, in Chelsea, need to hire a career Nanny to start in May 2025 to care for the baby, taking over care from their night nurse. Responsibilities will include all aspects of daily childcare: diapering, feeding, monitoring milestones, maintaining a sleep schedule, engaging in developmentally appropriate activities, sterilizing toys & bottles, child-related housekeeping & child’s laundry. Drivers are a plus, as are swimmers, though the ideal candidate should be comfortable in water. Applicants must be able to travel and/or stay over as needed. Living in would be preferred, at least for the first 6 months of employment, to offer evening support but this is not required, as long as the nanny can stay over a few nights, as needed. Candidates must be vaccinated for Tdap, Flu, and MMR. The right fit will have a minimum of seven years of experience and be familiar caring for infants and working with them as they grow and have their needs change. Must be able to keep up after an active child! Family would like coverage, at least between 8am and 6pm with a preference for coverage over at least one weekend day. Salary range:$30-35/hr. May start.
