A family, on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a meticulous and detail-oriented Housekeeper/Laundress to join their team. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeper and household organization for both indoor and outdoor areas – ensuring that all spaces meet high standards of hygiene and presentation, ensuring all garments, linens, and fabrics are meticulously cared for and presented in pristine condition, requiring knowledge of proper laundry procedures, garment care, and fabric handling techniques. All candidates must be comfortable working as part of a team, be able to perform tasks that require standing, bending, lifting (up to fifty pounds), and moving heavy objects and also able to provide excellent hospitality services when interacting with principals/guests, responding to requests or inquiries courteously and professionally. The schedule is Monday-Friday, about 40 hours per week, with the flexibility for various shifts, extended hours and working weekends and holidays. Salary range: $40-$45 per hour base + OT and a full benefits package. Immediate start.
