Working parents, on the Upper West Side, need to hire a Spanish-speaking Nanny/Family Assistant who can provide assistance with after-school childcare for an early school-age old child and assume the responsibilities for the upkeep and management of their home. Childcare duties include: school pick up and escorting the child to after school activities, homework assistance, scheduling and hosting playdates and overseeing dinner time, bath time and bedtime. Housekeeping duties will include: making beds, keeping common areas neat and organized, child’s laundry, overseeing service providers, shopping for supplies on line, and feeding and walking two dogs. The ideal candidate must be a dog lover who enjoys pet-care and who is comfortable driving in the city. Must speak English fluently and travel with the family domestically 4 times a year. The schedule is: Sunday-Thursday, 2pm-8pm with flexibility to work addition hours in the evenings with advance notice. Salary: $45/hour and a medical stipend. Immediate start.
