An inter-generational family of four (parents, grandma, and baby), on the Upper East Side, needs to hire a full-time live-out Nanny.  Responsibilities include: diapering, bathing, bottle-feeding, baby’s laundry, child-related housekeeping, sterilizing bottles and toys, monitoring developmental milestones, engaging in developmentally appropriate play, such as reading, sensory play, tummy time, etc., and maintaining sleep and feeding schedules. The ideal candidate will be a highly experienced, career Nanny who can assist parents in developing their newborn daughter into toddlerhood. Applicants must have experience caring for infants and helping them transition through their developmental stages- toilet training, transitioning to solids when the time comes, etc. The childcare approach should include discipline, consistency, and clear boundaries, as well as playfulness and a sense of humor. Attention to detail is a must, as is the ability to give and receive constructive feedback. The parents believe in open communication and want the nanny to be a partner to them. Candidates must be fully vaccinated (tdap, mmr, flu, covid,). Travel throughout the year is required. Individuals with a degree in childhood education or psychology are a huge plus. The individual must be able to handle stairs as the family lives in a Brownstown with lots of stairs. Must be comfortable in a home with a dog. Any Nanny who would like to live in will share a room with the child for the first year and then will be provided a private room and bath.  The schedule is Monday through Friday 8/9/10 am to 4/5/6 pm. Flexible to discuss the ideal schedule with the nanny. The salary range is $30 -$45/hour depending on experience, plus benefits. May start date, or sooner for the right person!
