A couple, with homes in downtown Manhattan and the Hamptons, needs to hire a Live-In, Hands-On House Manager. The House Manager (HM) will be responsible for coordinating vendors, conducting daily walk-throughs/checking household operating systems, maintaining inventories, purchasing supplies, managing packages/mail, and assisting with pet care. This person will assist with a variety of projects from household organization to private party planning and demonstrate a “no task large or too small” mentality . The schedule is typically Wednesday – Sunday and the hours are generally “split” since the Principals require the most support in the morning and in the evenings. The HM will have significant periods of downtime and the work week will average 50 hours per week. The role is based in Manhattan and travels to the Hamptons periodically throughout the year and particularly in the summer months. A private bedroom and bathroom is provided in each location. Qualified candidates will be low-key, reliable, professional, discreet and utterly reliable and trustworthy. Salary: $90K – $120K + medical stipend.
