A Family of four, in Seattle, needs to hire a full-time, live-in or live-out Nanny to care for their toddler and infant. The majority of the position will be caring for the youngest child as the oldest is in school from 9am to 4pm, 5 days per week. When school is closed the nanny will be expected to care for both kids. Responsibilities include: all items related to childcare, assisting the baby with meeting developmental milestones, feeding baby, taking baby on walks, activities/reading/playing/etc with baby, driving children to and from activities, researching and planning developmental and age appropriate activities, preparing healthy meals and snacks, children’s laundry, caring for their rooms and belongings and keeping the home neat and tidy. Applicants must be able to work well as partners with hands-on working parents and follow no-screen time rules. All candidates must have at least 3+ years of childcare experience (2+ years of experience managing multiple children at different age ranges and 2+ years of experience working with infants). Someone with a high degree of reliability is key. Candidates must drive and be up-to-date with vaccinations (flu, covid + boosters, mmr, tdap). A separate room and bath with a private entrance is provided for live-in candidates (live-in candidates must have prior live-in experience). Schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm with some flexibility needed. The Salary range is $90-110K plus a health insurance stipend.
