LR has been working with children for 10+ years, ranging from infant age to teenagers. She is a silly, warm, enthusiastic, and kind person who takes great pride in making family’s lives smoother. She is level-headed and quick on her feet in the face of unexpected challenges that often come with raising children. When not immersed in play and adventure with your child, she strives to be a parent’s “right-hand,” whether that’s scheduling children’s activities, light housekeeping, carpooling, preparing healthy meals, or any household task that comes with maintaining a busy home.
She is passionate about all topics relating to child development, including emotional regulation and connection-based tactics for gently guiding a child through unwanted behavior, conflict, or stress. She is a calm, confident presence during moments of turbulence, and believes that when met with patience and understanding, any child can take on the big feelings that often arise with life’s challenges. Forming meaningful relationships with the children she has cared for is the key reason she chooses to make this work her career, and she is excited to form lasting memories with the next family she meets! LR recently relocated to NY, and although new to the city, she is very city savvy and can easily navigate the subways and is quickly discovering all the wonderful parks, museums, and children’s classes that are local to Manhattan and Brooklyn families. She connected with Pavillion to find a long-term part-time Nanny position. She is seeking a either a part-time afterschool nanny or a weekend live out nanny position. She drives, swims, is a good cook, and can assist with family assistant duties when childcare is not required. She is covid vaccinated and available for immediate hire.
