She grew up on the Upper East Side of Manhattan and graduated with a BA in sociology from Rollins College. For 10 years she worked in the Interior Design industry in Manhattan as an Executive Assistant for two very well-known designers before moving on to nannying for a young family with homes in Manhattan, Oyster Bay and East Hampton. DJ has extensive experience in both New York City and Long Island having cared for children in both locations for years. She has cared for newborns, infants and toddlers in her professional career and has a broad range of experience. She has worked with every age child at this point in her life. DJ has always provided an enriching, fun, loving and secure home for children to grow in and can navigate both NYC and Long Island seamlessly, along with being able to drive and being a very strong swimmer. As both a career nanny, she is used to running a tight ship, all the while willing to pitch in with anything that needs special attention.
