She grew up on the Upper East Side and graduated with a BA in Sociology from Rollins College. For ten years she worked in the Interior Design Industry in Manhattan before moving to East Hampton in 2009. The first six years spent living in East Hampton consisted of caring for her two young children (now grown), but also her aging parents. Having cared for her Mother battling a very challenging terminal illness, it was then DJ decided this was her calling, a rewarding career that had nothing to do with aesthetics, she wanted to care for the most vulnerable humans and started working with children and other seniors.
She has worked a seasonal summer position for a returning family who spends their summers in the Hamptons. She also held two nanny positions for families who spent time in their second residence during the covid pandemic. DJ recently returned to NYC and is ready to find a family in need of her assistance full-time and long-term. She has experience caring for children ages infancy and up. She provides an enriching, fun, and loving environment for children to grow in. She drives, can travel domestically and international for great lengths of time, works well independently as well as with a team and offers full flexibility with her schedule.
