This amazing candidate is a recent honors Health Science graduate from Northeastern University in Boston who recently relocated to Washington D.C. and is seeking a full-time live-out Nanny/Family Assistant position. She has always loved working with children and found herself babysitting children from a young age. During her schooling, she worked for families as their part-time Nanny as well as held multiple full-time Summer Nanny positions, and has experience caring for children from infancy to school-aged.
RG believes the most important part of being a nanny is fostering a warm, educational environment for the child/children to grow. She ensures the children she cares for are aware of others’ feelings, able to express their own feelings and thoughts in a productive manner, and have an environment conducive to exploring themselves and any interests they may have. She believes this model fosters more independence, collaboration, and initiative in children rather than instilling the rigid model of children following a pre-set plan.

She works well independently as well as with hands-on parents, and she always believes in open communication. Along with her nanny experience, RG has been an EMT since 2018 and makes sure children are always safe in her care. She also is smart and savvy and can lend a hand in family assistant duties is such as tracking inventory, ordering groceries, calendar management, running errands, and pet care.
