Over the years I have participated in extensive work within private homes working alongside busy employers. I am fully capable of organizing and maintaining an entire household in order to help lives become less complicated and stressful. Making appointments, supervising staff and following specific work orders is not an issue at all. I take pride and enjoy making lives easier. My ultimate goal has always been to promote a positive, productive and successful environment for the entire family on a daily basis.
In addition to my many years of experience working with children of all different group sizes and ages, I also have an extensive educational background which has been focused towards human behavior and development. Personally, I have completed both a Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science and a Masters Degree in Psychology. I know how vital it is to provide people with positive energy in order to impact their lives in a constructive and optimistic way. I believe it is very important to help those I work with to stay active and guide them to make healthy lifestyle choices so that they will learn to implement such practices on their own in the future.
My educational background and experience working with children as they grow has taught me how to support the path to reaching developmental milestones, academic success, student development, leadership and career development for a variety of age groups. I have helped many people learn to acknowledge and develop their skills over the years.
My experience as a teacher has helped to enhance my ability to educate children with the necessary skills they need to move forward towards their next stage of development. My experience teaching au pairs at the training school has allowed me to pass on information that I’ve learned over the years through experience and education. The educational experience the au pair has at the training school before going to their host family is crucial to how they will interact and work with their host families. Being part of the essential Cultural Care team has enhanced my understanding that not every person learns in the same way and therefore it is vital to create lessons that can be altered to help suit individual needs whenever necessary.
As a household manager/personal assistant I am constantly on the go. I am responsible for running errands for my employer such as dropping off the dry cleaning, going to the grocery store, taking the children to their appointments or whatever else is necessary. My job also includes but is not limited to coordinating with contractors, electricians, plumbers and doctors for scheduling purposes.
As an office manager, I gained experience working within multiple departments and strengthened my skills using computer programs including but not limited to: Quickbooks Online, Excel, Tsheets and Office365. Coordinating with workers, property managers and other business administrators in order to organize schedules to get the work done within an appropriate time frame is not an issue.
I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience this position requires and would make a valuable addition to the team. If I can provide you with any further information regarding my background and qualifications, please let me know. I have attached my resume and reference letters for your review and I look forward to speaking with you further regarding the position you have available.
