She feels grateful every day that she found a career that is enriching and full of wonderful surprises. She was employed by a great family in 2002 with two wonderful children whom she treated with respect and loved with all her heart.  For 15 years, she enjoyed watching them grow, explore and learn, helping them face new challenges in school and everyday life. Spending time with children is the only work in her life that does not feel like work to her. In her personal time, she loves reading, bowling and travelling and driving in the country. She enjoys being outdoors as much as possible and loves to incorporate outdoor games and activities for the children she cares for. Before becoming a nanny, she was a math college professor for two years, she enjoys using her education with children always creating developmentally savvy projects for learning opportunities. Although she is sad her time with her most recent family came to an end (the children outgrew the need for a nanny), she is excited to begin working for a new family where she can help their children flourish in all areas of life.
