A formal household, in the Kalorama area of Washington, D.C., needs to hire an experienced and discreet part-time Housekeeper for a long-term position. Responsibilities include: general and detailed housekeeping, laundry and ironing, household organization, and maintaining the residence to a consistently high standard. The Housekeeper should be comfortable carefully handling clothing, furniture, and household belongings and should take pride in ensuring the home remains clean, organized, polished, and beautifully maintained. Prior experience working within a formal European-style household, or a strong understanding of the standards, presentation, and attention to detail such a home requires, is highly preferred. The family is seeking someone interested in a long-term opportunity and values consistency, professionalism, and a high level of care. The schedule is Monday through Friday with 40 hours per week guaranteed. Salary range:  $50-52 per hour. Immediate start.
